Our Staff
Maynard Esender - President
Maynard, owner/operator, started cabinet making in 1982 after 20 years of summer restaurant/bar business and winter carpentry in ocean city. He operated a one-man shop until 1993 when joined by Bud Kasten, a fellow Catonsville high school 1961 graduate. The business moved to its present location in 2005. He credits his design talents to his dad, an artist and draftsman and his work ethic to his mom and necessity. Beside woodworking, he enjoys his family and golf.
Lisa Tingle - Office Manager
Lisa has been with the company since 2002 and seems to be in charge of everything not made of wood! She is our office manager, accountant, secretary, personell manager, payroll manager and "mom" when needed.
Jeff Mumford - Sales and Design
Jeff, a lifelong native of Ocean City, began working at Frankford Custom Woodworks as a cabinet maker in 2000. A few years later, Jeff was moved "up front" to do the ordering, counter sales and CAD design of many of the projects we do. Jeff, like Maynard, enjoys family and golf.
William "Bud" Kasten
Bud began with Frankford Custom Woodworks in 1993 when it was still a small shop. Maynard made Bud "an offer he couldn't refuse" ... weekends off! And Bud's been with us ever since as a master craftsman and invaluable friend and employee.
Rob Harbaugh
Tiring of the warm beautiful weather in Florida, Rob moved back to his boyhood home on the Eastern Shore and joined us in 2007. He brought with him a wealth of experience and information and is now our foreman, keeping projects running smoothly in the shop.
John McTeer
John is also a master craftsman honing his skills in the field before moving indoors and joining us in 2005.
Paco Berduo
Paco hails from Guatemala and does all our plastic laminate and solid surface work. Hardworking and industrious, Paco is a master in his field.
Benito Berduo
Paco's brother, Benito also comes from Guatemala. He assists his brother in the plastic laminate department and keeps the shop cleaned up and free of clutter.
Jeff Slivka
Jeff is our very able finisher and cabinet maker. He joined us in 2008 and is responsible for applying the stains, paint and laquer finishes to all our many and varied projects.
